Re-Up

Offering a late night Re-Up for ya:

Young Jeezy doing his presidential thing on a typical Jeezy beat that reeks of epicness. He even throws in a couple gourmet bars:

“I woke up feelin all Trap or Die 2-ish/

Still countin on money think I’m half Jewish/

and if you thought that I was over than ya half foolish/

that boy Young he gets it done these niggas half do this”

Young Jeezy - Trap or Die 2 Reloaded

Alley Boy, with the help of Young Dro, put together a public service announcement on how to roll through your hood. Has “Summer Scraper Anthem” written all over it.

Alley Boy ft. Young Dro - Tall

I’ve never been totally sold on this dude k-os, from Canada, most likely because he was…from Canada. He spit some fire over the intro to his newest album Yes!

k-os - Zambony

Killer Mike, Ludacris, The Game. Listen. (I need to start listening to all that Killer Mike material gatherin dust in my iTunes!)

Killer Mike ft. Ludacris & The Game - Still My Nigga

Freeway’s just in a tough spot. Casual hip-hop listeners might hate his voice and his inflection. Hip-Hop heads might not be able to get past this quite famous and spectacular emasculation.

But all things aside, Freeway just always seems hungry, even starving to me. He pours everything out into his raps. His album with beat-maker extraordinaire Jake One, The Stimulus Package, is possibly the best piece of music I’ve heard this year. If you happen to like this song, check that album out…you might just have good taste in music!

This was the most stimulating [ll] new song I’ve heard off of Drake’s Comeback Season 2, and Drake didn’t even rap on it! It’ll have you thinking you’re playing Super NES again.
